Safe in Spain!

Hi everyone! I have officially made it to Oviedo after an extremely long day and a half of transportation. My flights went well. The flight from Boston to Madrid was long, but I sat next to an awesome girl my age that is also studying in Spain this semester, but a different city. She and I talked a lot but we got some sleep in too. The five-hour layover in Madrid was torture; we were all soooo tired by then that we were totally dragging. I slept the entire flight to Asturias - fell asleep on the ground of Madrid, woke up on the ground in Asturias! I got all my luggage and then four of us took a taxi straight to our hotel instead of waiting 40 minutes for the bus that wouldn't even take us straight to the hotel. It's nice to be somewhere other than an airport or airplane now. I just showered (finally) and my roommate for the weekend, Bailey, is napping.We're all planning to go out to dinner tonight and maybe some exploring! Another big day is planned for tomorrow, though, so I'm sure it'll be an early night. I believe we'll meet our advisors tomorrow as well as possibly our host families?! We're not completely sure yet, but we're all excited! Okay, that's all for now but I'll keep posting. I'm using the internet here for only 24 hours, so I may or may not post until I (hopefully) can get on the internet in my new home! Talk to you all soon! Love you all :)
